Wuh...tuh...ah...*More stammering* Well I'd have to say...a fighting game-Third Strike or Soul Calibur, a shmup-Ikaruga or Radiant Silvergun, and something crazy and unique-Virtual On, F-Zero AX or X-Men 6 player. But dammit I need my own arcade machine when I have the money!

Why would you want an arcade Soul Calibur when the DC version is better?

Because some of us loved playing it in arcade, regardless of its quality. I love both the arcade and DC versions, and if I could find a Soul Calibur cab in good condition for a price I could afford, I'd go for it.

I miss playing killer instinct in a cabinet.

I would love a sit down racer/flight sim cab
and I'd probably have to have a shooter - house of the dead or a knock-off I once played

anyone ever do the skateboarding cabinets?

1 Homemade MAME cabinet, running various emulators (arcade and non-arcade, but no computer emulators) and CRAMMED with countless Gigz of ROMs, ISOs, and various self-running (a.k.a. non-emulated) games. And it'd also have a modular panel and support up to four players, as well as lightguns and other stuff.

1 Homemade MAME cocktail cabinet, running lots of arcade games that call for at most 4-5 buttons.

1 Homemade Visual Pinball/VPinMAME cabinet for a massive glut of pinball games.

But... I'd settle for:

* 1 Ultracade OR whatever is better than it
* 1 House of the Dead 5 , best version possible
* 1 Street Fighter 4 cabinet, again best possible verison

OOOh... NICE thread Racket. Now, I'm not 100% clear on the rules, but I'll put in my answers for "unaltered cabinets" and then 'special cabinets'.

UNALTERED:

Street Fighter II Turbo (or *maybe* Anniversary Edition)
Killer Instinct
Neo Geo 6 Slot MVS

SPECIAL CABS:
A Street Fighter II with all iterations of SFII on it, including Red Wave, Rainbow, Super, Super Turbo, etc and/or a CPS2 cabinet so I could have all the CPS2 games.
A MAMEcab for everything else
A Shmup machine with all the best Shmups.

Wow, no one said.... MORTAL KOMBAT II ?

I'm actually in the process of building an MKII cabinet. All I really have right now is the game board and a few wire harness, along with the marquee. Use to have a control panel but thats a long story. Any ways, I'm gonna build my own cabinet and get the parts as cheap as possible.

After that project, I'm gonna build a MAME cabinet, the only real reason being cost and space.
