Finished keying all mine in, made Platinum. Frustrating that so many of the games are no longer on the list. They registered, but not worth any redemption value, curses! Ah well, I still have surveys to do and have plenty of coins ready to spend for February.

A wishful thought that since this is the final Club Nintendo, hopefully Gold and Platinum members will get a decent NON DIGITAL reward prize. No not shoelaces; a desperate hope for the Classic Controller SNES Gamepad! Anyone recall if that was ever offered for coin redemption in the Japan Club Nintendo and how much?

Got a free 100 point Wii console code from someone on GTZ tonight which pushed me to the 1000 point mark. I'm hoping they have something really special to redeem come February. It would be nice to go out with a bang.

They announced in the same message that they provided when they were shutting down the service that Platinum and Gold prizes this year would be a downloadable game. The year now ends at the end of March and for those reaching gold or platinum you can choose a game in the month of April.

So how bad of a name will Nintendo come up with for the replacement?

"Nintendo U"
"Nintendo U Us"
"Club Nintendo 2"
"Super Club Nintendo"
"Nintendo Plus"
"Nintendo Live"
"eNintendo U"
etc.
etc.

there must be some other, awful possibilities...

Hey for those close to gold or platinum, are there people here looking to help others with unused club codes?

Same for if you only have a 3DS or a WiiU, and want the opposing code for the Smash Bros music disc.

I'd pay/trade so I could get the WiiU-Smash code so I could get the disc.

That offer ended earlier this month, so having the code wouldn't help you at this point.

Ugh I didn't realize it turned into lame DLC. They must have run out of discs.
