Sucks something fierce as NIntendo never did it or just softly did it (molding changes in cart housings) but now they're just lockout nazis. Sony though swung towards whatever works works which is nice. Weird how that switched around.
Nintendo's policies since the DSi/Wii period has soured me a lot on buying games in the magnitude I used to, and combined with their downward turn in quality of their releases I'm growing tired. I find lately to get a good Nintendo fix I'm buying up GBA (with JP/EU stuff) and Famicom games.)

Well that just sounds to me like it might be a good idea to basically have multiple ds's or something if it's region locked and europe games are in english for the most part...too bad nintendo has gone region lock even on physical games...
