Thanks mods, for not banning me when I was a really crappy new member.

To be clear and I think most of you know, but to avoid rumor:
Dreamcast4ever83 attempted a scam on one of our members right up to the point of trying to win the paypal case by sending a PS1 instead of an AES. He was banned for this as well as other attempted scams right around this same time.
Busomjack was a great troll, but once outed as a troll, he became offensive when asked to tone it down and was attempting to affect the site by hacking in under different IP's and behind various proxies and firewalls - we had to ban multiple accounts one night and finally were able to be rid of him.
Boringsupreez - yr a strong contributing member and I don't think you stood out too much as anything but, even in your early days.

Re: The Mod appreciation thread
I thought this thread was about Console / PC mods.
I am Jack's crushing sense of disappointment
j/k
I've never had to be moderated probably due to the fact that this community is great. I've been coming here on and off for years now and I love it. I'm actually glad it isn't super popular because I think everyone gets along great and everyone conducts themselves like adults. The B/S/T thread is far safer than eBay and with better stuffs at less monies. Everyone is supportive of each other with little judgement passed. This is one of only a handful of websites that I go to regularly.

Other troubling information was found "on the internets" about him and as I recall he'd done something similar on another forum.mjmjr25 wrote:To be clear and I think most of you know, but to avoid rumor:

Truthfully, I do not know how I have avoided a warning. Though I may have gotten one in a rage and totally forgot about it. I have had some VERY STRONG opinions on here about certain topics and have voiced the LOUDLY. Yet you fools continue to let me run free, thanks for that.
BTW, is it odd that a mod started a mod appreciation thread?

Well if you really want a warning, I'm sure it can be arranged if it will make you feel better.wclem wrote:Truthfully, I do not know how I have avoided a warning.
