Does sound interesting and maybe worth pursuing (as long as it doesn't cost me a lot, though I could just buy it at a later date) , it's just that the point of this was to get PS1/PS2/NGC/Wii to look good on a HD TV, not to make it look like it was on an old television. But then again EHHHH. Would any of the following benefit from the SLG-3000?bmoc wrote: I'm not a PAL expert but I've seen videos of people from the UK using the GBS-8220+SLG3000/SLG-in-a-Box just fine. I assume they were using PAL equipment. Certainly worth further investigation. Maybe someone else will chime in on that.
-Non-480p Virtual Console games (NES, SNES, Neo Geo)
-60HZ Game Boy Player (GB, GBC, GBA)
-NGC/Wii games that nearly seem sharp but are blurry at the edges.
-2D PS1 & PS2 games
-Animal Crossing NES games
-2D Wii Games (non-sprite)
Yes, but then again things like that will jack up the total cost and this will be cheaper (possibly).bmoc wrote:It probably wouldn't be too hard to mod the scaler to accept SCART using the 8-pin connector just above the CGA input. However a Sync Strike would make that a non-issue and you'd have the benefit of knowing that you had a good sync signal plus you'd have audio breakouts from the Sync Strike as well.
