I never claimed the movie would suck, nor am I backing up anything. Just saying that movies that are all cgi leave a lot to be desired, and Trank isn't my favorite director.

The story is paper thin. This isn't the retelling of the Neverending Story or anything, the game is six hours of action and five minutes of story. I have no idea what premise this story would be written on.

"SOTC MOVIE; yay!

Josh Trank; Oh. Oh... Um... No. No no no."

I just really wanna know why you don't like the guy so much. He made one movie. And even if you didn't like it, there are worse directors out there. A lot worse. Like Rolland Emmerich.

I thought I said the same thing twice: SOTC could be cool, Trank isn't my favorite director. He's also not one of my favorite people either, as he's a bit of a douche bag and surrounds himself with other asshats.

Exactly, he made one movie. It wasn't bad, wasn't great, was at times pretty good but ultimately forgettable. There will be a Chronicle 2...which is fine. I just don't think Trank has the chops to pull this off.
