Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

It cracked the Washington Monument, which is now closed indefinitely. Thats shame view from up there is quite spectacular, if you can get tickets. Dept of Agri, Interior, and Homeland Security are closed due to damage.

I was talking to my young cousin this past weekend, that she says new york is better than California. She mentioned east coast don't get earthquakes, but an earthquake just happened this week. I want to know what her mom has to say about this eventhough they live in new york. My cousin ny accent sounds kind of horrible and she can't say her R's correctly.

Come visit California
Great no one got killed. I'm in Southern CA, we have something called the San Andreas Fault. The shake and bake a normal occurrence in the West coast. I'll take this over Tornado alley though. Who says one can't live dangerously.

Yes many Californians have been making fun of us. Two things, we're not accustomed to getting earthquakes. The last one of the this magnitude the Washington Post reported as occurring in 1897. It could be felt from Georgia to Indiana. 2. Our rocks transmit the energy much more efficiently than yours do, which is why it could be felt in New York and North Carolina.

I was in Berkeley Springs yesterday, and I had no idea what was going on until someone working at the Mineral Baths informed us of it.
