Still does. In movies and in television, and it's not all about the nudity itself, it's also about showing a character's status/fragility/insecurities/sexuality.
..but only when it's a woman, right?
I'm with General Norris here. Looks like a pretty blatant accusation of sexism to me. There's no other way of turning that above quote into not an accusation of sexism.

Or it could just be sarcastic remark from a regular user who frequently uses sarcasm?

C'mon guys, you're reading too much into it.

If Luke wasn't offended by it (seeing as how, you know, it was directed to him and not the people currently involved in the argument), and he had no reason to be, you guys shouldn't be either.

>"I don't think he's being sexist, I think he's being ridiculous."

Does it now make sense? You're taking one post in a conversation and taking it way out of context. The guy is talking about boycotting a COMEDY where nipples are cgi'd in, and trying to make it seem like it's some sort of statement about "a character's status/fragility/insecurities/sexuality", as if we're talking about the type of movie where that would actually be relevant. It's ridiculous, it has nothing to do with sexism.

As you can see from the flow of the conversation, my question was asked (and answered) with no accusation of sexism until after -- clearly when others jumped into the thread and didn't read anything first.

I would be curious to see if this actually was an obligation. What if at the time of hiring the contact specified CGI nipples? They wanted a nude scene, she doesn't want to do a nude scene, and they came up with a compromise. That sounds like a plausible scenario too me.

Plus, you're saying we should stop watching House because of CGI nipples. That's not going to fly.

On a related note, why is it so damn hard to find a decent picture of Vincent in his boxers when you can't turn around without finding an NSFW picture of Catherine? :(

Also, there's something much more disturbing than sexism accusations going on here: The notion that someone actually payed money to see "The Change-Up". Horrifying, if you ask me.
