Your choice between 360 and a PS3?
Re: Your choice between 360 and a PS3?
Not referring to all pluses and minuses of them, I would personally chose PS3

I have found myself playing the PS3 the most this generation, so I would go with that. It will be the console I will take with me to college, so that says something.

i know there are more exclusives to ps3 than 360
but don't you think the 360 has such a huge library now...there are so many good games over the years maybe 360 is becoming an un-skip-able console?

It's fairly easy to justify owning a 360, but the same could be said of any of the current consoles.kingmohd84 wrote:i know there are more exclusives to ps3 than 360

What'd constitute an "unskippable" console would be rather subjective.

the PS3 looks more sexy, the controls (IMO) feels more comfortable, no cost to play anyone online and if you don't care about the Halo series (and the other microsoft exclusive) PS3 gets my vote.

Re: Your choice between 360 and a PS3?
I really like my PS3 (despite how much shit I talk about it). But I'd pick the 360 over it every time. I much prefer the interface and the controller, it has way more budget games (used multiplat games are almost always cheaper on 360 too), and more exclusives that I'm interested in (shmups).
There's plenty of good things about the PS3, free online of course. Though I really don't think xbl is that bad, if you're paying full price for it you screwed up imo, there's big discounts all the time. It's quieter, and has bluray. I'd put reliability as a plus, but since I got my 360 3 years ago it's yet to have a single problem, if I had an older model I probably wouldn't feel so positive about it.
But I just can't stand the PS3 interface, it's clunky, sometimes very slow, and not laid out well. XMB works great when there's less options, but it just doesn't on the PS3 imo. But really, I've never used a Sony product more complicated than a cd player that had a interface that was any good.

Re: Your choice between 360 and a PS3?
I have gotten to the point where I really don't care. I got an Xbox 360 because at the time, it had more exclusives. Now, it is really falling behind. I'm considering getting a PS3, but nowadays most games that warrent an absolute buy are multiplat anyways, so it doesn't matter.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360
WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

When I go to college, I'm taking everything I own. "Everything I own" already fits in one bedroom anyway, so it'll work.lisalover1 wrote:I have found myself playing the PS3 the most this generation, so I would go with that. Between the Xbox 360 and PS3, I'd pick PS3. Between PS3 and Wii, I'd pick the Wii.
