I was expecting it to be that good. Actually I think Mass Effect would have been worth a 14 year wait...BoringSupreez wrote:No game in the history of ever would have been worth waiting 14 years for. Not even OoT or Half Life 2. Must be epicly disappointing to people who expected it to be worth the wait.AppleQueso wrote:Anybody, and I mean anybody who seriously thought this game would be worth the wait was delusional. I find it rather shocking that some people seriously do have that kind of expectation for this
So this game sucks. I need to cancel my preorder pronto. I knew something was up when I played the demo and found it was super underwhelming.

Jeez, am I the only person that's still interested?

I'm also still interested, always was, even if it is a mishmash of FPS trends from the last decade and a half.KillerJuan77 wrote:Nope, I'm interested too, and actually:CFFJR wrote:Jeez, am I the only person that's still interested?

From the arstechnica review:Gao wrote:Am I the only one that sees this part as a good thing?Lodestar wrote:hit and run gameplay without a cover system
Even worse is the fact that the game uses regenerating health called "Ego," which encourages you to take a few shots at the enemy, run for cover until your health returns, and then attack again. The full-on, guns blazing attitude of the first game (and even more recent titles such as Serious Sam) is completely absent. Duke Nukem Forever turns into a straight stop-and-pop experience, which is not what Duke should ever be. Not only that, but there is no cover system in place, so you find yourself scuttling for the nearest corner or pillar to hide behind.

I've never been into the intentionally cheesy 80's/90's action hero style, so I was never excited for the game anyways.
Though I'll admit, when I first saw the trailer the promise of tits made me pay attention. For about 8 seconds.

Is anyone surprised? This was doomed from the start.

The faux cover and the two weapons only inventory are killing me! Seriously, this isn't Halo, I want to be an effing walking arsenal!
