METAL GEAR SOLID (HD remakes)
Re: METAL GEAR SOLID (HD remakes)
If this sells well will Konami consider a 360 MGS4 port? Not likely knowing their mentality

do you have any clue how many discs it would take to port that game to 360 lol the pirated game rip = 40GB plus HDD install per chapter a DL DVD = what 8 GB i doubt it will happen for MS this genPulsar_t wrote:If this sells well will Konami consider a 360 MGS4 port? With the audio compressed I reckon it can be reduced to 2xDVD9 but Mr Kojima needs to get off his high horse first

Rage is three discs, Lost Odyssey is four, it can still happen.korn16ftl3 wrote:do you have any clue how many discs it would take to port that game to 360 lol the pirated game rip = 40GB plus HDD install per chapter a DL DVD = what 8 GB i doubt it will happen for MS this genPulsar_t wrote:If this sells well will Konami consider a 360 MGS4 port? That said it's been such a long time since MGS4's release, I really don't see this ever happening.

Yeah, I think it's been too long. A year or two ago it was possible, but how often to 3-year-old games get straight vanilla ports? It's more likely to be re-released on Xbox 720 ala The Twin Snakes than it is to come to 360.Xeogred wrote:Rage is three discs, Lost Odyssey is four, it can still happen.korn16ftl3 wrote:do you have any clue how many discs it would take to port that game to 360 lol the pirated game rip = 40GB plus HDD install per chapter a DL DVD = what 8 GB i doubt it will happen for MS this genPulsar_t wrote:If this sells well will Konami consider a 360 MGS4 port? Re: METAL GEAR SOLID (HD remakes)
Hope those of you who wanted the PS3 Limited Edition alreay ordered it, because it's sold out on Amazon. The 360 version is still available though.
Guess they weren't kidding when they said it was limited.
Edit: Gamestop still has both versions for sale. I don't know if they actually still have copies for sale, or if they're taking more pre-orders than they can honor (they've done that before.)

Re: METAL GEAR SOLID (HD remakes)
I Just got my copy in the mail from Gamestop (Amazon had sold out). Damn this box is huge! I knew there was an art book but I didn't realize how big it would be.
