I just started it, and the first line of the game is already gold.

I think there was a thread here discussing which, if any, RPGs had good story. I think that argument can finally be put to rest.

I don’t know if many of you are following along with each game I post, but if you are like me, you probably want a little bit more time to take in the awesomeness of Barkley’s Shut Up & Jam: Gaiden, so here’s a little game that only takes a minute to play, but has a surprising amount of depth and beauty. Ichor presents a battle fought with liquid color. It is a competition between two dots that are both billowing out colored paint. The objective is to cover your opponent dot in your color before he covers you in his. While the rules of the game are simple, the physics are not. The game uses some amazing fluid dynamics physics to model the ebb and flow of the paint colors. It’s really a beautiful and intoxicating game because of this. It doesn’t have a soundtrack, so I recommend turning on some ambient music for the full effect. There is also depth to the gameplay. You will find yourself coming up with strategies to get the paint to flow to your advantage. For example, it’s better to follow the stream rather than go against them, and you want to push hard on pooled batches of your color to overcome your opponent. It’s one of those games that you can play for just a quick minute or get lost in for awhile and lose track of time. My current high score is 60 if you want to try to beat me.

Hanukkah bonus!

Today is the last day of Hanukkah. I'm not a religious man, so I don't care what religions you are and I don't want the Jewish racketboy members to feel left out of my Christmas-themed thread. So here is a Wolfenstein 3D mod that lets you play the role of an escaped Jewish prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp that goes on a bloody rampage. Take out your rage against Hitler and the Nazis in this gory first person shooter developed by an Israeli modder. The game hasn't been released yet and I can't tell if it is going to be offensive or awesome (or maybe both). The trailer is a little disturbing, but you get to take out your outrage on the Nazis. It should be released on January 1st.

Reading the comments on the Teaser Trailer over at YouTube makes me realize two things: 1) Gamers don't know their history, and 2) YouTube commenters are idiots.
