I have to speak my mind about Ebay....

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I think ebay is great
while I think the whole website design and how things work sucks, now we can buy anything or sell anything we want.

Before ebay, you can't get your hands over a lot of stuff from older times because it was OLD and not sold in shops and if you found it with some one he will charge you a lot. Now seller meets buyer, everything else is supply and demand.

Speaking for high prices, there are two reasons as I see it.
1)There are people out there which grew up to be something important and they cherish those older consoles of their childhoods and they are willing to pay $100-200 for a game they used to love when they were younger.
2) Game fans turned into people owning and working in the games industry making big bucks. $100-200 for brand new Saturn controllers is a high value because they cherish it.

I like ebay, it provides everything with big price range. Trust is another issue.

The he/she who didn't reply to your 1000 msgs , and then got back at you for writing a bad feed back is so funny. It is so true of people.

Well almost anything. Pot, bongs, guns, and ammunition aren't allowed.

a batch of items I was selling just finished last night. I made sure to take note of how much they were selling for at certain times.
Most of them shot up 50-100% more in the final 10 seconds.
I don't mind people sniping when im selling.
I just feel bad for the guy with maybe 20 feedback who probably really wants the game being outbid by some super powerseller ebay videogame store

I was thinking about this and the only thing worse than being sniped is getting the price drove up at the last second.

I almost got a Street Fighter 15th anniversary arcade stick for $40 shipped, but then some ass came in last second and I payed $57 shipped, basically my max bid.

Still not a bad deal, but I sure was pissed when that happened.
