I'm speaking only of DKC 2, cream of the crop platformer. The level design is very much on point throughout the entire game.BogusMeatFactory wrote:If you say the original 3 on snes are better.. You are mad. Beating those for the first time a few years ago and it is a aaaaallll nostalgia for folks. Bad hit boxes, floaty controls and hodge podge level design.strangenova wrote:Fight me!BogusMeatFactory wrote: Donkey Kong country tropical freeze because it is legit the best donkey Kong country game ever made.

Re: Switch Discussion Thread
Isn't the third one the black sheep of the trilogy? (Don't ask me my opinion, I only own the first and third, because I'm weird and have never even played 2).alienjesus wrote: Oh man, I love you Bogus, but this opinion lives up to the name bogus dude. The DKC trilogy on SNES are amongst the best platformers ever made. Especially the third one.

So...is there like a good port of a Souls game, or a dark RPG or something like that? Or survival horror? Anything in that vein?
Re: Switch Discussion Thread
The Dark Souls port is fantastic. There's also Salt and Sanctuary (physical version available),Ack wrote:So...is there like a good port of a Souls game, or a dark RPG or something like that? Or survival horror? Anything in that vein?

Dark Souls, yes.Ack wrote:So...is there like a good port of a Souls game, or a dark RPG or something like that? Or survival horror? Anything in that vein?
There's Resident Evil Revelations 1 & 2. And 1, 4, and 0 have been announced as well.
Not quite sure what you're looking for with "dark RPG," though. There's a ton of those old Infinity Engine RPG's porting to Switch soon, though.
