I will be racing again throughout the day today! Let me know via this thread or pm if you are down for it at any point throughout the day as I may be on another game at the time. If we can get a large enough group I will record it and upload it to my YT channel!

Yup. The Snes Rainbow Road and Hyrule track are awesome

All the tracks are pretty good.
My only complaint is making some of the revival tracks much easier. The Wario Cavern's rail cars boost you now instead of hurt you. And in Rainbow Road they added arrows and drastically widened the track. I really liked the Mario Kart 7 version of that one.
Other than that I like what I got. The Hyrule track is fantastic. The Mute City track is a lot of fun.
I think the track with the most longevity, though, is the ice one (I don't recall the name). I keep seeing multiple shortcut paths in it that are hard to catch, but look like they would form a very different path.

oh shit, new dlc is live, thought it wasnt coming out till nov 21st.

Bleh. By the time I downloaded and installed the latest Wii U update, then downloaded and installed the latest MK8 update, then downloaded and installed the DLC pack it was too late for me to try out the new tracks. Oh well, at least it's all ready to go when I get home from work tonight.

Maybe every one and their mother was downloading the updates because the DLC just came out? So the server was kinda bogged down?
