You don't need NNID to play together. Just create a tournament and either post or PM the tournament code. I've been playing in "private" tournaments since day one.
I'm in the busiest 2-week stretch of my entire year right now, so am pretty unlikely to join up. I've heard about these tournaments though and they sound legit, would def. like to partake at some point.
I need to create an ID though and unlock some stuff. The Wii U is in my daugher's name and everything unlocked is on her profile.
This is actually perfect for me right now with my new work schedule. Don't expect to see my just yet, though. I've only had a chance to play the Mushroom and Flower cups on 50CC. I'll wanna play more of the game before I try out the online.
