What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Poses, facial expressions, movement, walks. That is acting in live action so applying it to animation seems fine. I have seen it commonly used by animators but I'm not sure how common the usage is.

When you watch Scooby Doo and they remain static while only their mouth moves and poorly at that. I think that's bad acting, because the image doesn't act like the character would. The drawing is your actor, so as to speak.

Also Pulstar_T is right, he was voiced later on.

No, it is bad animation. Acting is a conscious action - a drawing cannot consciously "act" like something or someone.

I'm just using the term like people related to the animation world do. For example, Michael Barrier (Animation historian) talks about acting in Fantasia while John K (Creator of Ren & Stympy) loves to talk about how the acting in Bob Clampett cartoons is the best around and has many entries labelled as "acting" dedicated to the faces Daffy makes.

Catfish. GO SEE IT! No spoilers, it will totally ruin the movie if I go into any sort of detail, but I'll just say that its a documentary film about relationships on Facebook. It really blew my mind!

The Invisible Invaders (1959). Black and white 50s sci-fi movie. Great cheesy fun. The aliens are radioactive and invisible. However they can also inhabit dead human bodies, which cannot be killed.

Considering this is the Swiss' first foray into 'serious' scifi filmmaking I am more lenient when it comes to judging this. Too bad they didn't go for an original storyline while they were at it. On the plus side the transfer is awesome.

I have heard a lot about that trilogy, I need to give it a watch.

I watched the A-Team finally today and it was actually better than I thought it would be.
