Sorry, aggravates the hell out of me.

You misunderstood me. I said from the comic, not in. As in Alan, his wife and kids, Tyrese, his daughter and her boyfriend, aren't in the show. I kind of find it racist or something that Tyrese, a pretty major character, isn't in the show, but instead there's a black character named "T-Dog" that may as well not even be there and is one of the most minor characters.

I don't think the makers of this show are racist, but it is kind of funny that the black guy who was such a major character in the comic as been somewhat replaced in the show by this guy:

You can make whatever jokes you want to about that LOL

Just went back and re read. Sorry about that, didn't mean to go off on you.

Allan was sort of in the TV Show though. Or at least someone with a similar build/look. Carol from the TV shows husband sorta took his spot as pain fodder...

I think at some point the show should go completely on its own tangent though. That way we can keep it within the universe without having all this comparison going on.

 she does.

I kind of see Andrea as that kind of girl who generally looks down on men that she considers as weaker than her, but as soon as someone with a stronger character (Shane, Gov, Michonne) comes along she becomes all googly-eyed and easy to manipulate. The kind who falls for the bad boy types.

nice episode. shit's about to go down.

nice job glenn. don't trust convicts, but don't gun down someone you know is crazy and doesn't like you.

i'm interested to see how this prison vs woodbury war plays out since they have more ammo/people. but then again crazy rick=10 men and if they go against the girl with the bow they should be ok.

Lots of speculation from finding a scarf.

These new writers are great. Best season yet.

The scarf thing was retarded, but at least shit's happening this season. everybody freaked about darabont leaving/fired, but the writing wasn't always stellar even when he was there, and the story was moving at a snail's pace.

Wow. WOW. WOW

Just read up to issue 48 of the comic, to say that shit hit the fan would be one gigantic, massive, ridiculous understatement

The book goes to places that I HOPE the show doesn't go. It's too much. TV viewers won't be able to handle it. Everything we've seen on the show so far is so tame by comparison to what I read in the last few issues it's not even funny

EDIT: One thing I have not read in the comic yet is that phone call we saw at the end of the last episode. That was intriguing and creepy. Still, every thing in the comic book up to issue 48 makes the show seem like sunshine and roses by comparison. Wow

I don't know which one issue 48 is (maybe the "fate" of the Governor if you can call it that)? Anyway the phone thing is definitely in the comics and it lasts a few issues if I recall rather than a single episode. Pretty much the same thing except Rick and Carl are wandering house to house getting phone calls and Rick is dragging the phone with him... I think. Been a while since I read the comics, but it's after the prison stuff. I think they're up to issue 9 billion now.
