I thought your name was a take on Rurouni Kenshin aka the old Samurai X

It is, actually.. Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X is my favorite anime series of all time for many personal reasons.. Also, since everyone has Santa hats on their avatars, (and I've been on a MegaMan kick lately,) I decided to askew RB holiday tradition and make Ice Man my avatar..

with haohmaru in your signature as well, I guess you have a thing for samurais

I actually fence competitively, so yeah, definitely have a deep amount of respect for and fascination with the samurai, as you could imagine. (Which is funny, since I fence Western Olympic style, and not Kendo..)

One my dear friends uses a lot of slang and has many "catchphrases." He makes frequent use of "oh snap!", exclaims "bone!" when excited/happy, and describes anything good/desirable as "deez" (apparently short for "diesel").

Said friend begged me to play WoW with him for years. I said no because I don't particularly enjoy MMOs. One day I decided to spontaneously create an account and "surprise" my friend in the game (I knew what server he'd be on). I chose a username I knew he'd immediately identify, as it's basically an amalgamation of his catchphrases.

Anyway, I quit WoW pretty quickly because I tired of it. I continued to use the BoneSnapDeez name as I found it amusing (in my own "inside joke" sort of way).
