That track is good, not great. On par with some of the weaker stuff from 1-6. Honestly, I'm just not interested in anyone's opinion on MM9 unless they've beaten 1-6 as well. That's just kind of how it is for me regarding this game. If you have, then forgive me.Haruspex wrote:I played the demo which has only the concrete man stage and i found the music great.
I've seen way to many people praise MM9 for being totally old school, but these same people would never be able to give you any information on the spot about the old games. What was Skull Man's weakness? Identify this track. What is this enemy called? What game was Napalm Man in? Stuff like that. I've yet to actually find a review by a true fan of the old games. Just people who casually enjoyed some MM2, and if you're really lucky, MM3 as well.
Back to the music though, I've listened to the original and arranged MM9 albums multiple times, and my opinion is still the same. Weakest score ever in the classic series. Only great tracks are (Excluding the shit they just copied and pasted from the old games, which is fucking blasphemy, I think) the Title, Tornado Man, and Boss (Arranged ver only). Why do you think the MM9 trailer only included the first two tracks I mentioned? Because Capcom knew those were the only ones that were on par with expectations.
