Nomad has played everything ive tried to play and is in great condition except for the battery not holding its power very well.
So yeah this nomad was in a thick fabric case with both batteries (the AA batt kind hasnt been tested and the regular one for charging doesn't hold a charge at all) AC adapter and PSII (scratched label) and looney tunes i believe. I was stoked when my i got it, i had no idea what it was at the time, other than it appeared to play genesis games.

Once found a copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for the PC for only a buck.

Other gr8 finds (not recently, but altogether):

* N64, A/V cable and power supply included, no games or controllers - $3
* Fallout and Rainbow 6 for the PC - $a few each
* Some various Rainbow 6-related stuff for the PC (an expansion, Rogue Spear, and some other stuff) - $3 each
* Legend of Zelda (gold cart), Dragon Warrior, Dr. Mario, and a few other NES games (all cart only)- $1 each
* You Don't Know Jack Volumes 2 (empty case :( ), Volume 3, and Volume 4 - $a couple each
* Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the PC - $same as above
* Street Fighter the Movie for the Saturn CIB w/ a "Fighting Vipers" disc inside - $2, I think
* Some books - $1 or less for paperbacks
* Carmen Sandiego board game - $1
* old version of Trivial Pursuit - $1
* Tiger R-Zone SuperScreen w/ Toshinden game - $1-2
* some old comics (Double Dragon, every ish except for #1, and a random issue of Robin) - $3 each, but the wrote the price right on the covers, though their quality probably wasn't worth that much, but it was for a good cause

Also, most, if not all, of the PC games have been with their original jewel case (case might have been imperfect) and most of it's original papers.

Also, the two thrift stores in my area, which are both about 10 minutes away by car, don't usually have a lot of video games. You might be able to find an old PC game, though.

Also, at this one "estate sale", where they were selling off stuff from people's storage sheds (it was a public storage facility, and they sold off stuff from people who couldn't keep paying), and I scored this one thing almost CIB that had Worms: Armageddon (w/ manual), Civilization 2 Gold Edition (w/ manuals) and the manual for Mechwarrior 2, though the game itself was missing. That was a couple of bucks, and two Schwartzenegger DVDs (T3 and Commando) for $2 each.

I once found GTA 1 and Warcraft 1, CIB I think, but opted not to get them. I mean, GTA 1 is free now and Warcraft 1 isn't much compared to Warcraft 2.

The fact the Nomad holds a charge at all is a miracle! Awesome score man, the AA battery pack itself goes for $20-40! Nomad is sick, I use it at home as much as on the road. Handhelds can be a cool way to game while the girl is watchin TV.

Christ...a Nomad with ThunderForce 4 (Lightening Force) that just plain silly son!

On monday I picked up Aero the Acrobat (SNES), Bill Walsh College Football '95 (GEN), and College Football's National Championship II (GEN) all for 2 bucks each. I was pumped for Aero the Acrobat, because I rarely find SNES games around here. On the other hand, I pretty much always find a sports game for the Genesis whenever I go thrift shopping.

Today at Goodwill my fiancee found Super Mario 64 and Rygar for NES for $2 each. Days before she found a near mint PS1 for $5. I plan on hitting the flea market this weekend to see if this little lucky streak continues.

Today I saw Xenogears and Star Ocean for ps1 sitting in the case at one of my regular thrift stores and I got a little excited, especailly when I saw a 10 dollar sticker on them both. However when I opened up Star Ocean there were no discs and Xenogears had 3 of 4 discs from FF IX and a copy of Tactics inside. He said he'd just throw away the case of Star Ocean and I'm like "why? i'll take it" and he said no he "had" to throw it away. He wouldn't give it to me. I didn't buy the other one because I already have 2 complete copies of Tactics. I'm like WTF....i may go dumpster diving. Very frustrating. Side note: It's run by mormons..... :?
