CPU Tails is such a dick in Sonic 2 special stages. I have a hard time clearing Chaos Emeralds with that goober behind me. Like him otherwise, helpful for boss battles.
Knuckles is fun with the climbing and gliding. I like sticking him in Sonic 2 and breaking stuff.

Re: Games NOT Beaten 2017
Since I've hated on Sonic Generations a lot in this thread, I think it's only fair to point out that I got a chance to play a little bit of it on the Xbox 360
Holy shit, did I notice a difference. It seemed to run a lot smoother and handling Sonic felt better too. Even a little thing like playing a level on ranking mode, where you'd have to wait like an hour for PSN to update the leader boards, happened instantly on the 360
I forgot how much of a difference there was when playing certain games last gen on the 360 versus the PS 3.

Yeah 360 was definitely the simpler console to develop for last gen so most multi platform games play best on it. The only leg up with the PS3 is a few games look slightly better, but usually at the cost of performance. Plus PS3 has bluray so it takes a little more effort for people to truly tear up a used copy so it's easier to collect for.

Hotel Dusk is very close to making this list for me.

Interesting, I know a lot of people jizz over that one on here. Never played it myself. Any reasons why, in particular?

Re: Games NOT Beaten 2017
It's been a little while since I played either of these but... whatever I'm posting about them anyway.
Higurashi Chapter 3 - Tatarigoroshi
I really wished I could finish this, but I got about half way though and stuff had just barely started to happen. I can understand the first chapter and second chapter being kind of slow to start, but now I've just gotten tired of it continuing to be slow. Doesn't help that knowing that Umineko is a lot better than this, and that I really need to get to reading that already.
Supipara Chapter 1
Same devs who made eden* (which I thought was really good), but this just feels like all style but no substance. I mean it looks really pretty and it has a lot of neat animation going on, but the story seems kind of dull and the main character's friend is really annoying. Mind I didn't get super far into it, but I have a lot of other visual novels that I can play so right now I'm not really in the mood to waste time on ones that are boring (even if they might get better later).

Eh, I'd just go with the Higurashi anime if you haven't seen it already. The games themselves look kind of rough.
