And that one Cena movie (The Marine I think?) was halfway entertaining in a dumb way

Wait wait wait, is it time for a Scott Pilgrim bandwagon?!prfsnl_gmr wrote:I take comfort in the fact that I am not the only one who enjoyed it.dsheinem wrote:no no no no noprfsnl_gmr wrote: I really liked it...and that's OK because all of us don't have to like the same things.
probably about the worst movie I've seen in the past ~5 years or so. Here was my reaction, which spawned several pages of argument.
Donnie Yen had such an interesting career. Unlike Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, etc., Donnie Yen really was not a star of Hong Kong action cinema until he was in his 40s. He did, however, star in Drunken Tai Chi at the age of 21, and the athleticism displayed by a young Donnie Yen in that movie is astounding. I do not understand why that movie did not make him a star, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of martial arts movies.Gamerforlife wrote:Donnie Yen

If you just want a guy who can look bad ass, he can do that. You want him to play a dramatic role like Ip Man though, he can do that too. This guy's been in tons of great movies, has choreographed fights for great movies (like Blade 2), and is a bonafide bad ass martial artist in real life.

Wait are you telling me that you are supposed to just go for a ride without having to over analyze every minute detail to establish some sort of superiority over another person!? I've been doing this wrong the whole time!J T wrote:Dsh isn't the only one who hates fun.BoneSnapDeez wrote:It thrills me to see that someone hated Scott Pilgrim vs. The World as much as I did.
