If we were going to do this, I'd almost want to leave on Friday night, spend Saturday there, and comes back Sunday morning/afternoon. That might be impossible with some folks' work schedule though.

As a New Yorker, I'm generally more on favor with people coming here though. There's the arcade in Jersey and Maker Faire, not to mention all the game stores. It's more in the middle for the PA members though I think the northerners don't like the idea of coming so fat down without cheap places to stay. Also it'd be cool to meet Pierrot and Bone if he'd come. And noiseredux of course.

Now the big question is why noiseredux is in my phone's dictionary already.

Yeah, I've got him in my phone too; still haven't met him in person, though. What is up with that?

If a lot of people are feeling NYC and the Maker Fair, it's not an impossibility for me to be there. Just not as easy, and not my preference.

Ok, this is starting to lean towards Funspot and such. I really do want to go to a Maker Faire at some point, but I kind of want this to be a loose trip that has some definite checkpoints and side quests, but without a super rigid schedule of having to be certain places at exact times.

I'm pretty sure MakerFaire gets down by you at some point. They are starting them all over the country now.

Bump to see who else might be in for this in late October or November.

Hey! I might be around for this if you'll have me. :)
I'll be sure to keep an eye on this thread.
I'm only 15-20 minutes north of Logan Airport.

If you're flying into Boston and heading up to Funspot, might I suggest rounding out your mini arcade tour with The Pinball Wizard Arcade and The Half Moon Arcade?

They are both either on the way or close enough to Funspot to make it so you're not really going out of your way.
Here's a map: http://goo.gl/maps/NJI0h

Funspot is great, but if you're anything like me you crave 90's arcade goodness and adding these two destinations to your trip to Funspot will undoubtedly leave you satisfied. 8)

One more bumps. If you were sent a PM and have not replied, voting polls close tomorrow. If you were not PMd and might be interested in meeting for Funspot and other stuff, shoot me a PM.
