Fondest memories of your youth/childhood playing videogames

13 years old a friend of mine had gotten a japanese copy of pokemon gold from his dad when he got back from japan. This was months before its release in america and he let me borrow it for a week and i beat it in that week. Not sure how i did it as everything was in japanese and i didnt have the internet back then. Infact all my childhood pokemon memories are awesome. I miss going after school on fridays to my local hobbyshop for the pokemon trading card club. Dad would let me go through his change drawer for money for new booster packs.

I remember Having the whole block over for my 10th birthday and as we all piled into parents living room, around the big screen my mom said happy birthday and turned on my N64 .To my surprise I saw Link pounding the living hell out of Kirby in a free-for-all, my eyes couldnt believe what was going on( ). Guess where the rest of the evening was spent trash talking yelling and handing out beatings to each other on the greatest game we had ever played up till that point .
