Good luck. :|

Not sure what I think of that, since despite some fans being torn on it I'm a huge fan of RE4 and replaying RE5 was even a lot of fun this year. But Revelations? Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikes, hated it. lol

And the little I played of RE6 I liked more, yeah. But it was still insanely average and so I just moved on.

Anyways I'm still chugging through Silent Hill 4 myself and dig it a good bit, I just don't play it very often for very long haha. Now I honestly wonder if going from this one to Siren Blood Curse would be a good transition though (knowing the Siren games are made by some ex Team Silent devs). That's my idea I guess. I've got Shattered Memories and Origins, but yeah everything after SH4 looks obviously Americanized and such.

I have been playing a ton of the Dayz stand alone lately and I think it definitely feels like survival horror to me. Right now in the state it's in the zombies are no threat to you it's the other players that want to kill you and take your loot in hopes of finding a can opener or better parts for the gun they have. Every single time I've run into another player my heart starts racing and is pounding in my chest. Hell even just hearing another character eating is terrifying since most other players are ready to kill another on sight.

I'm trying to do some extremely stupid funny stuff in the game like server hop until I can fill my inventory with can openers and wander the land giving them out. Hell just imagining getting killed and having someone going through my equipment only to find out that it's full of can openers gives me a shit eating grin.

Man, you guys aren't inspiring a lot of confidence in my recent RE: Revelations purchase. I was told it was a lot more like the old-school RE games, which I'm a HUUUUGE fan of.

Same here - I heard it was great, almost a throwback to the days of RE2 and RE3.

No problem - I expect to be playing within the next week, and I'm sure it won't take too long to go through it. I just bought Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles and the Resident Evil Remake, both for the Wii, and am enjoying them so far. I haven't completely given up hope for one of my favorite genres!

Is this your first time playing REmake? That's like the best remake of a game ever.

Zero is pretty awesome too. Not one everybody loves, but I think it's great and would put it above Code Veronica.
