If Sora doesn't crash his Gummi ship into Dagobah in Kingdom Hearts 3, I will be extremely disappointed.

This is going to make it so hard for parents to raise their children properly. Their kids will be so confused.

Uhm Muppet Christmas Carol was released uncut on DVD. It was fullscreen, but it's more than likely the film was shot open matte. It's funny every year my family watches this movie, and we always fast forwarded that song. When I told my parents the DVD had the widescreen version that edited the song out it was like a Christmas miracle.

Does anyone else hope that Star Wars Episode 7 is based off Heir to the Empire?

OMG No my childhood is RUINED.

Oh wait no I don't give half a fuck at a rolling doughnut in a 14 caret rat's diamond encrusted asshole.

I liked the original movies when I was a kid, but I wasn't fanatical about them. I didn't have many of the toys, unlike my best friend in elementary school that had everything. I saw the Christmas special on broadcast TV and even my young mind knew it was garbage aside from the animated bit. I've never owned any home versions of the movies. I was seeing the 90s theatrical re-releases of the originals with a huge group of friends, but I petered out an didn't bother going to Jedi. Things just got worse from there. Star Wars has been a mostly soulless entity for years to me. Most of the time I can't even be bothered to be angry about it anymore. Lucas selling its dessicated husk to Disney doesn't phase me. *shrug*

But hey, if Red Letter Media is still around, maybe I can look forward to another entertaining Plinkett breakdown.

Yes, I'm aware of that.

But it's the principal of the matter, damn it. There's no reason to cut it. If you want to skip it, fine, that's what chapter breaks are for.

By the way, I've seen the edited version, and it's not a good cut, by any means. It's poorly done and very jarring. I'll just stick to my unedited VHS copy until they get it right.

Anyway, blah, blah, blah, new Star Wars movie, blah, blah, blah. I really don't care.

Well then, it's obvious where you stand on this very important issue:

If it were 1995, I would be concerned about Disney ruining the Star Wars franchise...at this point, however, the damage is done.

Maybe we'll finally see those Episode 7, 8, & 9 movies we were hearing rumors about back in the 80s & 90s.

Apparently this merger also included LucasArts. I wonder if we will finally see re-releases of Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, X-Wing, and all those other classic titles that LucasArts has been sitting on for years.

I'm surprised at this development on its own, but I'm not really concerned about it. The status of Star Wars is something I've never cared about in the first place.

The LucasArts stuff though, I wonder what they'll do with that, if anything.
