Yes, I like Guardian War quite a bit. In fact, it's my favorite 3DO game that I own.
It's fairly cheap too, I think I got it "almost complete" (no longbox) for $15.

Sometimes I fantasize about buying a PSP just to play The 3rd Birthday.

I have. Way back when, the only reason I bought a 64 was for Paper Mario.

When I was a kid, I only used my Game Boy Color for Pokemon: Pokemon Red, Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Pinball, Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Crystal.
It was awesome

I bought my PS1 for Medal of Honor, my Genesis for the Sonic games, my Saturn for NiGHTS, and my Dreamcast for the Sonic Adventure games. In all cases except for the Saturn, I soon bought other games which I also enjoyed.

I like to think that for most kids growing up in the 90s, Pokemon was the essential game to have for Game Boy. The craze back then was truly something else.

I do this quite a bit.
I bought a Gamecube just to play Resident Evil Remake and Resident Evil Zero.
I bought a PSP just to play Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics (although I've recently realized that there are quite a few other good SRPGs for it).
I bought a Saturn just to play Dragon Force and Shining Force 3.
I bought a Sega CD just to play Shining Force CD.
And lately I've been eyeing a 3DO for Lucienne's Quest.
I should calculate what the average number of games is for each system I own. It's probably amusingly small.

I got a Nintendo 64 specifically to play Star Fox 64. Eventually got a few more games though.
Like a lot of people I also got my Game Boy Pocket specifically for Pokemon but of course I ended up getting loads more Game Boy games.

I bought a DS Lite solely for Dragon Quest IV. It was well over a year before I bought another game for it - Dragon Quest IX.
