This letter makes me so weirdly happy. There is some guy who takes himself and his job so seriously that he calls himself the Game Lord and sees it as his personal responsibility to bitterly take children down a peg when they talk down about the NeoGeo (on official SNK letterhead no less). I just love that so much.

In Japan renting games was banned after pressure from the game industry. I know Nintendo was very heavily involved in the lobbying but I don't know about Sega.
