Finally?

He did the screenplay for Toy Story back in 1995. Hollywood admires the guy to no end and he's been working in moves for decades.

If anything it's the fact that "Joss Whedon" is finally becoming a household name.
Yeah, I know he's been involved in movies for a long time, but he's never had a real hit movie that he is fully credited for. Serenity didn't exactly light up the box office.
But damn it's good. I thought it was better than the show itself, if we compared any individual episode.

Also, two mega-hit shows that lasted 7 seasons or so a piece I think gives him enough credentials for this, especially since both of those shows (Buffy & Angel) are genre shows.

I believe Joss has said that he is in the writing stage with his brother and that everyone is coming back for the second one.

This talk has been going on forever, and I hope the stars align but I don't see it happening for a while. I really hope I'm wrong as I love Dr.Horrible.

Don't need it for closure; I thought the ending was very Whedony.

I think the "modern" Cap uniform looks horrible and the WW2 era one from his solo movie looks 100 times better.

HEY MODS!!!!!!!! I suggest we make this the avengers movie thread. Come friday, we're gonna get mutlple threads. and this one seems just fine.

anyways!

The movie has come out in other countries already. came out in mexico last week.

Saw the movie yesterday wednesday May 2. I am giving it a solid B.

Dont wanna ruin it for others here, Its a solid, yet overly repeated story.

Fans and normal fans will like it. Even though its a little mopey in some scenes. But once the action gets going, its all good.

I'm quite sure the inevtiable sequel will get it right. (whenever that comes out)

I'll give more cents once you guys here have seen it.

I'm so glad you told me about the bonus scenes. I'm seeing it soon, and I'd have ended up leaving during the credits if you hadn't said anything.
