He also says "I'm outta here!" if you let yourself get a Time Over in a level.

Yep!Although, I went to look for a video to link and discovered I was wrong about the circumstances (memory's failing it seems). You have to leave him sitting for 3 minutes, and if you do it it causes a game over. I guess Sonic gets really pissed about it all.

He only has one life in this video (which I picked for the music) but if you watch others, he'll immediately go from 3 lives to 0.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles is my personal favorite Sonic game ever. I just randomly decided to play as Sonic only recently (normally I play as Sonic & Tails). Sonic Megamix will let you play Sonic 1 as Tails, Knuckles, Shadow,or Mighty, and you don't need a cartridge, a flash kit, or a modded console!
