Have a little patience. The system was just announced a day ago. The game list will come later on with pricing and official spec information. The 3ds did not have a list when it was first announced either. The tech demo videos were very impressive for a first day reveal.

I am more interested in the 3DS because to me Nintendo is more magical than Sony. I have a long list of childhood and teenagerhood experiences with Nintendo's products and I want them to live up to my expectations.

However, the 3DS is too expensive for me to jump out on an unmeditated impulse purchase. I'd buy unquestioningly if it were $150-$200, but $250 is right in that unsure area. Furthermore, the system doesn't seem to do anything fundamentally different from what's already around. The DS already has a touch screen, the original PSP already has console-quality graphics. Zelda, Mario Kart, Resident Evil... yes yes, they're all nice, but I've played all the previous versions. I might get one if the novelty of it is so mind-blowing that I'll remember it forever, but we'll just see.

I voted PSP2 because I know I'll most likely want it. But so far as of now I haven't seen enough to really convince me.

3DS? I have no hope for anything Nintendo has its hands in.

3DS. I'll probably wait a bit as there's no games that'll be out that I'm really interested in until June.

The hinge on mine is broken, but to be fair, i threw mine at a couch 3 feet away once after a particularly frustrating online match of Metroid Prime Hunters. I should just not play online though (ever seen a 360 controller with teeth marks?)

Getting back on topic I think Ill wait for the 3ds lite. The analog stick looks easy to break in its current form.

I have my 3DS preordered and more than likely be buying a PSP2 when it comes out also.

Personally, I'm just going to sit out the PSP2 and 3DS launches. I don't believe in being an early adopter.

I think the better course is to wait for the price to come down, for hardware revisions to come out, and for enough software to be developed to be able to make an informed decision about which is the superior console for you.

I'll eventually get both but will wait at least a couple of years.
