There's ExZeus for the iPhone, if you're into that.

Also, have we seriously gotten this far without mentioning Space Harrier's arcade release? Do you want alternate versions like this, or just planning on going with the SMS title?

very early in the thread, someone said "Space Harrier (many versions)" or something like that.

I can't think of many games to add since so many have been mentioned, so I'll get a bit off beat. This game is not so much on rails, but similar to Sin and Punishment. PN03 for the Gamecube. Check out a trailer is you're interested. You should see what I mean.

I love PN03. In fact, I'm still in need of a CIB copy if anyone sees it cheap at their local Gamestop and wants to grab it for me. :)

I want to add to that some PC games I played that have sections on rails. One is Cyberia, which is mostly an adventure game but has some pretty arcadey sections. The other one is Incoming, although several levels are not on rails.

I think each of those has ports on consoles (Incoming I'm sure was on the DC as well).

Ivo.

Space Harrier is the one arcade machine I'd like to own above any other. That purchase, however, will have to wait for a while. I wrote down "Miscellaneous Space Harrier ports/sequels" on the main post so that should cover most of them. But the ones I plan on getting are the Saturn and 32X versions. And for anyone who wants to know, the arcade version is on the Wii Virtual Console.

I don't have an iPhone/pod. I'm not an Apple person and I don't feel the need for any of their portable entertainment devices. That's me though. Someone else might like to try the game out.

CoDMW?

http://www.giantbomb.com/rail-shooter/92-320/ 82 games listed on GB. Games like Time Crisis and Virtua Cop are indeed on-rails shooters, despite their fancy accessories. Gunblade NY and Rail Chase 2 can be emulated using ElSemi's Model 2 emulator and they're lots of fun.

Oh and you should get Rez HD. Ignore the PS2 and DC versions and go for broke! There's a disc compilation called Qubed if you don't fancy the DL version.
