Budcat Creations got the axe, and it seems Bizarre is likely to be next, with Raven soon to follow. Acticunts indeed. Seems the market is going to be consolidated into 20-25 key franchises with the odd project or two that fail miserably.

I look at the shelf of games I own from this generation, and the score comes out like this:

EA with 6 games
Activision with 0 (!?) games

There are probably a couple titles from both publishers that I would buy if funds weren't limited... but the choice is easy for me since Activision (ie: the biggest video game publisher in the world) hasn't offered any games worth keeping in my collection. EA is no angel, but at least their end products interest me more often.

I can't remember the last game I bought that was published by Activision. Possibly Guitar Hero 2?

I think the only game I own from one of those companies is The Sims 2. Not sure if I have any other. I sorta dislike both companies.
Thanks everyone...

The last Activision published game I bought was MW2. EA, on the other hand, gets much more of my business. They have had an excellent run this generation publishing Bioware stuff, and games in the Burnout/NFS series, Battlefield series, Dead Space series, etc.
