So the problem is that you got so used to playing with the d-pad on the left side, that if you swtich hands to favor the pointer wiimote like everyone is suggesting, the analogue stick feels weird on that side. Vice versa, the pointer feels weird on the right.
well, it's a little more like, my brain is wired for me to live my whole life with my left hand as primary , not just game controllers...

I use my mouse left handed too, baseball bats, guitars, knives axes, all hand tools.

it really makes no sense to me that these things arn't made symmetrical with button assignments in the software. I was wanting to buy the split fish mouse controller (or fragnstein) but they're for rightys so I'm screwed there too. if I could get any of these things cheap 2nd hand I'd consider modding them, cut and fit buttons to different locations, but ya know I'd probably end up with more time invested in the mod that I would ever spend playing the games....
oh well gotta love those product engineers.
Ocelot, did it again...sorry Boss !

I'm a lefty too but I actually hold the Wiimote with my right hand, cause for years I've been using the D-pad/control stick with my left hand. But I'm one of those people who can use both hands for everything, with the exception of writing and holding a fork/spoon (I can only do those things with the left hand)

So it depends how much the said lefty can use his right hand (my cousin had the same problem, he couldn't hold the wiimote on his right hand, but he didn't have a problem using the nun chuck with it, so I can see why ujnhunter is in such a tough spot with gaming on the Wii)

EDIT

anyway I think the move is an excellent idea. A Wiimote that works like it should, on an HD system with good online function.

I only have 2 problems with it.

1) The number one developer of motion games, Nintendo will not be making games for it for obvious reasons.

2) It is a freaking extra "add on". Even Wii Fit or Wii Motion+ don't have that many games supporting them, so I hardly see how a controller which is not bundled with a killer up can sell much, let alone convince 3rd party developers to spend resources on making their games Move compatible.

That being said I think this is a much better idea than Kinnect, and imo Sony should use this from launch in their next gen console.

It will be interesting to see how this affects AAA online games like Killzone3 or SOCOM4. The Move will provide superior controls to the standard controller. Will people have some sort of marker next to their name to show that they have an upper-hand on the competition? Will this be the push The Move needs to enter into every hardcore gamer's house?
