Sigh, I should have done this a year ago when Gamestation were clearing their Gamecube stock out with really cheap prices. In fact, even about 2 months ago my Gamestation had loads of Gamecube games and they were being sold really cheap to clear stock. I'm talking Resident Evil 4 being sold for a fiver and most games being £2 kind of cheap. Shame, because when I went into Gamestation the other day and bought my Gamdcube and games, a lot of the games were nearly double what they were a couple of months ago.
Yeah Gamestation isn't getting visited much these days. I see they have a few Gamecube games worth having, but I'm not willing to pay 9.99 for Double Dash. They do have the odd gem though, such as Metroid Prime 2 for 2.99. Gamecube I find there are cheap games or expensive games. Your Metroids, Timesplitters and even Resident Evils (1 mainly) are dirt cheap, then you have the Mario games that are atleast a tenner, then you have the expensive ones such as Baten Kaitos, Zelda, Pikmin 2 etc. In fact saying there are cheap, average priced and expensive games is the most stupid thing I have written.

A tip I can give you though, is the expensive games like your Pikmin 2's, your Twin Snakes, get a Freeloader and nab the NTSC versions, sometimes you can save yourself atleast £10. I did this with Resident Evil 4 when a few years ago it was about £20 second hand, I got the US version for about £8. A lot of the time you also get a different boxart, but you do have to use the Freeloader each time. I imagine the Japanese ones are cheaper too but the boxes are a lot smaller (if like me, you don't want your collection having odd sized boxes :P )

Yeah cheers for the suggestion. I will most likely look into the NTSC prices too. I'm used to doing that with the Dreamcast sometimes to save a bit of cash.

I know what you mean with the prices though, they are a bit random. I'm also not willing to pay a tenner for Double Dash. Especially since it's my least favourite Mario Kart. It's annoying that any game featuring Mario is at least £10, regardless of the fact a lot of them are common as muck. I'm surprised Metroid Prime is so cheap, but I'm not complaining :P

I'm still trying to find some good deals on Ebay and Amazon whilst checking my local Gamestation and CEX. I just wish I had more games shops near me. They all slowly died over the past 5-10 years wth only Gamestation and Game surviving. And since Game bought Gamestation, Gamestation has mostly sucked balls. Bloody Game monopolising the market and ruining the retro scene!

If you are also looking for Japan imports here's a list I made.

The Hudson Selection titles, Dream mix TV, and D.O.N. are pretty good but can also be had on the ps2 JP.

Actually, the gamestations near both my houses (uni and home) have had some real gems recently,so it's worth checking out. In Brighton i found super monkey ball for £3, and monkey ball 2 and Metal Arms glitch in the system for £4. In the one near where I am now had 1080 Avalanche for £3 too.

I've pretty much bought every great game for the Gamecube released in the US, so now I have to start importing, or just start buying "good" games instead of great ones.
