I've been saying that Sega needs to make Alex Kidd in Bayonettaworld for a while now.

They made a decent Nintendo game.

They had disgusting names.

They had an enemy that every teenager wanted to bone.

It's like Jessica Rabbit and Christina Ricci made a baby. A sexy baby.
Yeah, Battletoads were much cooler I always thought, not that I wasn't a TMNT fan. I'd take a fight with her over Shredder or Krang any time. The games also created a more interesting world to play in for the Toads with more varied gameplay. And the music in the Battletoads games...well, just listen to this:

or this:

Dizzy (Spectrum/C64/Amiga/etc.)

love to see the whole series remade for DS

Last Ninja (C64/Amiga/etc.)

Giana Sisters (preferably C64)
remade for DS
http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 32&t=22356

Saboteur (Spectrum/C64)
nice Ninja/Puzzle/Platform games, hugely popular amongst Spectrum/C64 nerds

Commander Keen (PC)
remade/new versions available for GBC?

Rockford - Boulder Dash (C64)
several versions available, yet not many people talk about Rockford
http://www.firststarsoftware.com/boulderdash.htm

Shadow of the Beast (Amiga/C64/etc.)
one of the most impressive trilogies graphically and audibly for it's time; deep story-line, for those whom bothered following it

The Lost Vikings (Amiga/SNES/PSX/etc.)
they make a re-appearance in World of Warcraft; very nice cameo
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lost_Vikings

Superfrog (Amiga/PC/etc.)

and a bunch more old heroes

I'd be psyched for a new Wonder Boy game. Problem being that most of the Wonder Boy games are vastly different from eachother that the franchise never really establish much a coherent personality.

I just want Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap 2.

I want Monsterland IV

I've got it translated and stuff, but I don't feel right playing it until I own the cart (only available in Japanese)

Many of Nintendo's forgotten mascots made cameos in Captain Rainbow, but I can think of two who were forgotten even then. Muddy Mole, of Mole Mania fame. He got one absolutely amazing puzzler game for the gameboy, and was then forgotten. A Mole Mania DS (or 3D?) would be amazing. And even though the game is only 4 years old, I consider Jill from Drill Dozer to be forgotten, just because the game got such awesome reviews, but Game Freak went "FUCK THAT, MORE POKEMON!"
