I think I saw part of the 1979 film on television once, but I never saw the 1990 one.

Wait, is that the one starring Reb Brown as Cap? He was amazing in Space Mutiny!

Ack, I hope we get to see some WW2 era Cap. I much rahter a Nazi Red Skull than the commie one. Golden age Cap was pretty cool, hell, even Bucky is kind of cool. Besides maybe they do some kind of Winter Soldier thing.

Cap is THE best comic hero ever. Period.

You know you want it.

I'd prefer to avoid Winter Soldier...Bucky should have stayed dead in my opinion. And as for Cap being the best comic book hero...well, I used to feel Spiderman was, but over the years Marvel's done things to him that just make me want to avoid him. But Cap was always Cap. Sure, Marvel screwed up the whole "Death of Captain America" by claiming he didn't really die and retconning the whole thing, and I wanted Bucky to stay dead, but Cap is still Cap. Hell, he's the only character in Marvel that reaches the mythic proportions of DC.

And for the record, I do have a favorite DC character. Batman.

Well, it looks like the popular opinion on this movie is that it's good, but not as good as the first.

The game sucked, as expected.

It's official from the crew, the Captain America film's set almost entirely in WW2. Cap's apparently being played by Chris Evans. Not too thrilled with that one considering his performance in Fantastic Four, but then again that's probably because of my great distaste for that film in general(never bothered watching the second), and not because of his acting. He came off as a chauvinistic hot-headed daredevil, which works pretty well for Johnny Storm I suppose.

But the real clencher for me? Hugo Weaving's supposedly playing Red Skull.

I hated the FF film also. They ruined Dr. Doom. Well not really but for that film they did. Like you I never bothered with the second either. I just though everyone was too young for the part they were playing with maybe the exception of the Human Torch. That is awesome as hell that the movie will be set in WW2 though.

I still want my [Harvey] Birdman movie! Now that would automatically be the best superhero movie ever.
