Re: Hang in there PS2! We still love you!
I have a picture of my PS2 that I sometimes keep in my wallet for when I'm away on long business trips or when I'm desperate for some solid jackoff material.
Thoughts of hearing my PS2 making all those sweet mechanical noises before booting up a game of Gran Turismo or God of War just get me goin' like you wouldn't believe.

I wish Gamecube had become an open platform. It'd be amazing to see new indie titles on the Cube. And with the Wii's backward's compatability, they could still sell the discs without manufacturing new consoles.

You know I've always wondered why Nintendo didn't keep making Gamecube games after the Wii came out. They had a great Idea with Twilight Princess with the ability to use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in the Gamecube version if you played it in a Wii, and they could have used this as at least a sucessful marketing tool to allow people to own an easily upgradeable back catalog that didn't loose much in translation when they upgraded from the Gamecube to Wii.noiseredux wrote:I wish Gamecube had become an open platform. I thought they were two separate SKUs. I didn't think you could pop the cube version into the Wii and use anything other than a GC controller. TP is actually mirrored from the original version Cube on the Wii because Link was turned from a lefty into a righty to match the wiimote.Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:You know I've always wondered why Nintendo didn't keep making Gamecube games after the Wii came out. They are completely different SKU's, the Wii controls were just an easter egg bonus for later Wii owners that bought the Gamecube version when the game originally came out.RadarScope1 wrote:I thought they were two separate SKUs. Same here... but starting today I'll give it a hug. Its too bad homebrew started a little late on the console's life.BoringSupreez wrote:I don't hug my fatty, but I do sleep within 3 feet of it.cyborc wrote:I still hug my fat ps2 every night before I go to sleep
