One thing I'd like to propose: is there a reason for the order of genres? I would wonder if the RPG would be better off in July when those in schools have off. Perhaps also in December when people are snowed in and there are breaks anyway (family time, however, may detract from playing long sessions).

I think it'd be kinda weird to have Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun, Guardian Heroes and Gunstar Heroes. Hell, we might as well make it:

Jan: Gunstar Heroes & Gunstar Future Heroes
Feb: Alien Soldier
March: Bangai O, Bangai O spirits and Bangai O Missile Fury
April: Mischeif Makers
May: Guardian Heroes & Guardian Heroes Advance
June: Silhouette Mirage
July: Ikaruga
Aug: Sin and Punishment & Sin and Punishment Star Succesor
Sept: Radiant Silvergun
Oct: Dynamite Headdy
Nov: Rakugaki Showtime
Dec: Astro Boy

Actually, the more I think of it, the less that sounds like a bad idea

If Super Puzzle Fighter II is on the table - I vote for that one. Multi player on PSN is a huge bonus. I love retro games but if we have a current gen option for multiplayer? HUGE

Kind of a late nomination but how about Golden Axe for Beat em up?
It's on multiple compilations & systems. A new one came out fairly recently, as well.

*Yawn* It's an ok suggestion, but it seems a bit....generic. Like choosing mario as a platformer. Of course, I'm probably saying that because I've played it far too much already
