:) Listening to the news paid off today. I had an American Government test today, and missed 1 question. But I answered the bonus question (who is the vice president, and what state is he from) correctly, so I still got 100%. The answer is not in the textbook, so I only knew it from paying attention to politics by myself.

Actually, I never made spaghetti with meatballs before. I always end up squashing the minced meat. Been saying for months (if not years) I should try it with meatballs once. If your stepdad cares to share his recipe I promise I will make my next sauce with meatballs using his recipe.

Pretty please?...

Okay, since you asked so nicely, here's the meatball recipe. Just be warned; the quantities listed in the recipe make a LOT of meatballs.

Ingredients:

1 Green Pepper

1 Red Pepper

1 LB Italian Bread Crumbs

4 LB Ground Chuck Beef

16 OZ Jar of Prego Sauce

1 LB Bulk Sweet Italian Sausage

1/4 LB Bulk Hot Italian Sausage

2 Eggs

1 TSP Seasoning Sauce

1 TSP Garlic Powder

1 TSP Italian Seasoning

1/2 TSP Crushed Red Pepper

1 TSP Black Pepper

4 TSP Olive Oil

1 TSP Cavender's Greek Seasoning

3 TSP Parmesean Cheese

1 28 OZ Canned Tomato Sauce

1 28 OZ Diced Tomatoes

2 Portabella Mushroom Caps

Instructions:

0. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

1. Put meats together in mixing bowl.

2. Remove sausage from casings.

3.Crack eggs into mixing bowl.

4. Add spices to bowl.

5. Add full jar of Prego sauce.

6. Add olive oil and green pepper [Cut out center of pepper and dice them].

7. Add half of bread crumbs and parmesean cheese.

8. Manually mix ingredients until blended.

9. Add remainder of breadcrumbs.

10. Make meatballs 1.5 inches in diameter. [Wet hands first]

11. Get out 2 cookie cooling racks and pans; spray them with cooking spray.

12. Lay remaining green peppers on top of meatballs.

13. Cook for 45 minutes on convection bake.

14. Put olive oil at bottom of large pot on stove on high heat.

15. Put rest of sausage bits in pot. Stir when necessary.

16. Dice red pepper and add to pot.

17. Add diced portabellas to pot. [Never submerge mushrooms; wipe them with cloth.]

18. Cook for 10 minutes.

Smile - Sold a stack of old World of Darkness books to Half Price Books today and got about twice what I expected! It was enough to buy another tank for Warhammer 40K!

Frown - just tried to turn on my PS2. The disc won't spin and the laser won't move. It's dead. I could'a used that money to buy a new PS2...
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Those dang PS2s, they're dying left and right. They had to get old sometime...

Nice, thanks!... :D

Shouldn't be too hard to find all the ingredients. Except for that Prego sauce.

Cheapest price on eBay is like 85 bucks shipping included to Belgium... ROFLMAO !

The Cavender's Greek Seasoning I found for less than 10 bucks shipping in.

All the others ingredients I should be able to find locally...

Thank your stepdad for me will ya. Tell him I accept the challenge...

None of the stuff in the recipe has to be brand-name; I was just taking really specific notes for the recipe. Just tomato sauce will suffice, as well as standard Greek seasoning.

I find Prego to be overly sweet so I would recommend substituting a good jar of marinara sauce that you can find locally.

For Greek Seasoning, you could google for a recipe. Make sure that the one you find has salt, pepper, garlic, oregano at least.
