That's disgusting, we would really appreciate it if you DIDN'T post a drawing of a morbidly obese Amy.

Augh. Where does that crap come from? I think the answer is the internet. As in, before the internet these people who had these thoughts just repressed them, ignored them, or got psychiatric help. But now they can anonymously find other people who want to see inflated cartoon characters farting on eachothers earlobes. I mean, if 10-15 years ago you had a sudden thought about how hot it would be to see daisy duck spontaneously combust while getting banged in the ass, there was nothing you could do to act on it. But now there's some dude who thought the exact same thing and drew it and submitted it to deviantart.

I'm going to have to say some of my good friends really into comics, get really annoying... about comics pretty often.

That said I think they got annoyed with me when I got back into anime several years ago. I keep more to myself about it now that I figure they just don't care. Wish they'd get the hint about me and comics (no offense to anyone here of course, lol).

EDIT: Seeing as how you're kind of a Sonic expert though CFFJR (sorry if I missed this earlier in the huge thread), weren't there some comics kind of based around or connected to Sonic SatAM and Sonic CD? I'd totally be down for checking that stuff out.

Same with some old TMNT stuff that I always hear is supposedly semi-serious, haha.

But yeah, my point above was just geared towards my friends and comics in general.

I haven't picked up and read a Sonic Comic for some time. The latest ones at least. I just remember around 8th grade or so reading them and thinking..."wow, is it just me or are these story archs getting more and more insipid and emoish?" they were mainly the ones involving Mina Mongoose.

Glad to know they've improved.

Also, wtf to fat-bat Rouge....that's just... yeeeah.

Actually I think the whole comics spawned from the SatAM cartoon show itself -- hence why it has Sally Acorn and Rover in it and what not.

a girl in my college had a drawing on her binder that had a fat belly/pregnant version of Vegeta which is quite odd.

Clearly you were only searching from AOL or something 10-15 years ago. I would sometimes get rather bored as a lab monitor and search for weird stuff as I couldn't really work on any of my homework in the lab. I spent a few weeks collecting fonts, a great number of the 857 I currently have installed came from that period. I also spent about a month looking at horrible accident pictures on Ogrish or whatever is was.

Sometimes the links off simply strange sites led to more terrible stuff like you're talking about. Granted it was not so convenient as looking up some furry board or deviant art is today. And no that stuff isn't for me and I wasn't like the guy that always sat in the corner looking at porn all the time and would spastically start closing windows any time someone got up from their computer or came in the lab door.
