Yeah, but who would YOU cast?

I shit you not, I think Keisha Knight Pulliam could pull it off.

Kirkman in the Talking Dead said that that may be the same helicopter that Rick saw in the very first episode... I think it's more than just a nod to another movie.

I love how they teased his death, and it seemed appropriate that Rick was the one who saved him. Also, in a zombie movie, shotguns > any other weapon. Nothing looks more badass to me than taking out the undead with a shotgun. It's what I would want in a zombie apocalypse, so that was awesome.

That first twenty three minutes was great. I don't come into every episode wanting or expecting action, but I do appreciate a good action scene when it's there and that was twenty three minutes of not just action, but absolute chaos! I love how the group was getting splintered, people were randomly dying, and everybody was sort of fighting their own battle or dealing with their own situation in this mini-war for the farm. I love that there was so much going on. Awesome!

I usually get my action fix from Nikita, which has some of the best action sequences on TV today. However, that season finale of The Walking Dead gave me lots of it.

I shit you not, that I agree dude! Rudy Huxtable swinging a Katana blade would rule!

Someone mentioned Meryl as The Governor? That would actually be a great twist to the story but I don't think that's confirmed though. I could have sworn that they picked David Morrissey as the actor playing that role?

I can understand getting annoyed by constant comic book referrences w/ the tv series but hey it's going to happen. I'm a huge fan of both so sometimes I can't help myself and I apologize. I honestly hope that they do things differently as I want to be surprised.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

He was cast some time ago.

I'm sad the season is over, I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to where they take the show. I never read the comic so don't really know what to expect. I'm happy that next season is going to be even longer, I read 16 eps.

I've seen a lot of comments from people frustrated with the drama of the show but honestly it rarely bothers me. I'm not really one to over analyze TV shows so unless it's horribly glaring to me, I let it pass.

So my gf just marathoned both seasons over the past few days and I watched most of it with her. I generally detest live action shows but this was a well written, well acted, and well executed one. I quite enjoyed what I saw. I haven't read any of the comics, how close is this adaption to the source material?

That season 2 finale was pretty dang good. One thing I didn't like was the weird hooded sword wielding character... felt very out of character for the series and tacky, but not in a good "zombie flick cheesey" way. Perhaps it works better in the comic? Either way, very enjoyable finale. Just thought that bit was very out of place.

One more question, can anyone specify was issue number the live action adaption ends on, approximately?

Most of the general plot and progression of the show is the same (Especially in Season 2). Season 1 was wildly different through most of it (which was kinda nice).

I think you'll change your mind very quickly about the hooded character when season three comes around.
