Who do you think had the best E3 2008 showing?

E3 sucked

Nintendo = D

Wii Music is a toy for 6 year olds. No new IP or support of any type for core gaming community. Nintendo NST showed less games for Wii than majesto. WTF? If anything I could be considered a Nintendo fanboy because I know Nintendo's internal teams can make the best games in the world. If only they were allowed to.

Wii Motion plus is confusing, their new demographic won't even know the difference. The only people who want more accurate motion control is core gamers, and they aren't making any games for us.

Sony = C

They had the best produced conference technically. great stage and good pacing. Finally PS3 has most of the games coming for Xbox that core gamers are waiting for (Fallout, RE5) Lots of new technology for multimedia and PSP that I don't care about but is really cool for those who might. Lots of stuff they showed still seems a way off.

Microsoft = B-

Something for everyone, if you believe the company line. I would agree. Gears 2 co-op should be great, and all us meatheads will play it, geez. The community gaming and new Xbox U.I. were huge. Netflix could be really cool if the streaming service continues to grow. Not too mention MS had something I really got into, developer hands on gameplay. There are lots of games coming out for 360, and lots of them don't look bad. Not as many AAA coming as I'd like but lots of games that have a chance to be really fun.
