The only one of those I've played any of is Super Princess Peach, which seems pretty great so far. Need to steal it from the little ones and sit down and beat it.

Are you confusing the DS Astro Boy game with the GBA game? If so, I understand your comments completely. Astro Boy: The Omega Factor is insanely good. If not, I need to add the DS game to my "want" list.

Of all those, I strongly recommend Mega Man ZX and Advent. Very underrated games all things considered, and sadly ignored by most Mega Man fans.

Here's trailers for both:

They are nice easy-breezy games to beat on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

I think Sarge must be, because the DS one was developed by "Art", not Treasure. Also it didn't get very nice reviews.

I agree the GBA Astro Boy is great though.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Whoooooops! Yeah. Not the same. That's what happens when I post late at night when I'm tired!

Of that list, I want prfsnl_gmr to play Boing! Docomodake next.

Not because I can vouch for it's quality, but because I've been curious about it for some time and I wanna hear his thoughts on it!

Someone else play it! I wanna know what people don't like about it! I've played through it like 4 times, and have thoroughly enjoyed every playthrough, so unless I'm just crazy, it's not an awful game :?

At this point, actually, that or Dokomodake might be the next thing I play, as I own Dokomodake as well :D

It's not great. It's a very different experience than the other Wario games, and it really suffers as a result.

I tend to be pretty picky with platformers, so I actually haven't played any on the DS yet. There are some that I'm interested in (Kirby, Starfy, probably others...) but the DS unfortunately doesn't get a lot of love from me ha.

I have N+ for Nintendo DS. This is the platformer genre boiled down to its purest core elements. If you love platformer mechanics, you will love N+ (or at least I think you should);
Hello, my name is Graham and I like platformers but do not like N+

N+ is one of those 'threading the needle' type platformers like Super Meat Boy that do absolutely nothing for me. I just get irritating - just like I would if I was threading an actual needle.
Hi Graham. Sorry we don't see eye to eye on this one. Maybe you and I like platformers for different reasons. I really enjoy the challenge of a platformer, especially at higher difficulty levels. For instance, I prefer super meat boy over Kirby. I can imagine that many would disagree with that assertion.

Yeah, maybe so. I'm certainly not against difficulty in platformers - I love Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania and those sort of games. But I definitely prefer Kirby to Meat Boy - I think it's the repetitive 'try, try and try again' thing Meat Boy has going on. I can feel the pressure rising everytime I play and I just end up very tense and wound up instead of having fun. Not angry, more stressed.

I have a similar experience with a few other games I guess - Catherine was one of those recently.
