I've acquired the GOG version. I'm considering playing it after I finish the PSP game I'm playing.

I do have one small complaint... Owlboy's facial design is fucktarded. I mean... owls have huge eyes, and this guy just has small little Mickey Mouse black slits. It just bugs the shit out of me. Not saying that one aesthetic has any bearing on the quality of the game, but I really don't care for his face design at all.

my copy of Owlboy showed up today. It's really pretty. And really boring. Or maybe I'm a fickle old curmudgeon now. That would explain why the majority of games I play lately don't click with me at least. Anyone want a physical DRM-free copy of Owlboy w/ soundtrack and all? I don't plan to keep this.

Well, that's disappointing. Hopefully I'll like it a little better...

EDIT: Went down to the mailbox in the freezing cold and I got my copy in. I'll see how it turned out soon.

OMG it's so good looking - I was absent when this was a thing back in the day, but I find it so endearing now. I bought it digitally, but I really can't play it for a while - as it is I'm falling behind on stuff I really gotta do right now.

I'd have to admit I might be game for it? What have you got into it? It looked interesting to me and I'm into the last full sized act on Torchlight 2 as of last night.

I've played it for a bit. It's got a very slow start. I'm in the Owl Temple now, and it still feels like the game is ramping up a bit. I know there are other characters I can carry around for offense at some point, so I'm definitely giving it time to get going before I call it quits on it.

It is absolutely a beautiful game, though. We're talking top-tier SNES/Saturn/PSX-level visuals.

Oh, hey, noise, a question about your physical release. Did yours come on a DVD-R? Because mine did. Apparently others' did as well. This apparently isn't standard operating procedure for IndieBox, but I think it's really disappointing, and feels cheap.

Wow that's odd. The only other one I ever had the game came on a USB credit card of sorts where the stick plug flips out.
