Amazon or Ebay?

I beg to differ on the "evils" of Amazon. Sure, there's no pictures on their listings, but I haven't been burned by them yet. The prices can be better than eBay on a number of things, be sure to always read the descriptions.

Even a seller on Amazon I bought a Gamecube game from noticed the case had a burn mark on it and swapped it out with a new, original GC case, and I got a great deal on the game to begin with.

Look at reputation ratings, and it's better if it's ever Fulfilled By Amazon, means they're using Amazon's warehouses to ship the stuff and they also handle the customer service issues, and they go out of their way to help resolve any issues from my experience.

Don't buy used games on Amazon. Unless you WANT your games to be scratched and you hate free shipping.

At least on Ebay you can get pictures and lots of Ebay sellers offer free shipping.

Let's use an example for Amazon. Say I want Resident Evil 2 on PSX, the non greatest hits Dual Shock version in a double case, black label. Amazon doesn't have that listed, at all. Now some seller MAY have it, but the descriptions are so poor, you will never know.

Let's not get started on "Light Scratching." That term sickens me. Some people call layers of circular scratches light.

I assume you're talking about non-Prime items because I have never once been burned by a prime item. Hell, most of the time they're "good" items are "like-new" in my book. Not to mention that Amazon has the best customer service of retailers online or brick-and-mortar. Most times they'll give you a refund even if you don't have a legit reason to get one.

Idk if it's just me but most times I get a refund as soon as the tracking updates. Plus I've ordered easily over 75+ times on Amazon so far and only had to return an Item once. It was a comic book who's cover was bent. They refunded me $5 and sent me a new one with one-day shipping.

I generally stick to ebay for selling, I was not a fan of process when I sold a few items on Amazon.

Recently my Wife needed a text book, and we found it listed on Amazon, there were a few sellers with varying prices. I was going to just pick the cheapest one, but opted for another listing that was only 5 bucks more, but listed as NEW. Upon arrival the book was clearly not new, it had sharpie writing on the cover, and the spine was creased from obvious use.

It took a few days for the seller to respond, and she said something to the extent of its good enough to call new. We didnt have time to wait and return the book and get another copy so we just kept it, but it is a good example of what everyone else is saying with the descriptions being bad on Amazon.

I have a hard time with ass holes. Hey, it' your money and your time. You waste it, and waste the time, too. Doesn't matter a damn to me. You have a personal vendetta against a website or a person who prefers another website, tough nuggets.
