Why skip it? Would you want to skip DA:O or ME1?dsheinem wrote:Hmm, one vote for skipping it one vote for not skipping it.
Yes, my computer can run it.
HLTB has the time for The Witcher at almost twice the time as Witcher 2. That seems...unusual.
Really like Witcher 2, how is Mass Effect Trilogy?

I wasn't sure how closely they were connected. Was it like an ME thing (direct connection), a DA thing (a less direct connection), more of a Final Fantasy type thing (no substantive connection), or somewhere in between?Jmustang1968 wrote:Why skip it? I skipped it, partially because there wasn't controller support and partially because I couldn't get into the combat.Jmustang1968 wrote:Why skip it? Would you want to skip DA:O or ME1?dsheinem wrote:Hmm, one vote for skipping it one vote for not skipping it.

It's like ME, it is a direct continuation of the story.dsheinem wrote:I wasn't sure how closely they were connected. Was it like an ME thing (direct connection), a DA thing (a less direct connection), more of a Final Fantasy type thing (no substantive connection), or somewhere in between?

Nope, I am happy to play games with KB/MouseStark wrote:Heh, well I don't think Dave has that particular affliction.Jmustang1968 wrote:Pfft you guys and your controller support
To wit, John: I completed Dragon Age I and II and all their DLC and expansions using a controller. You, stuck with a Mouse and KB, have yet to finish the first one despite two attempts.

The first attempt was lost due to hard drive failure. I also have an issue where I basically have to 100% and do all side missions which slows my progress. My 2nd attempt is still open, I am actually about 85-90% donedsheinem wrote:Nope, I am happy to play games with KB/MouseStark wrote:Heh, well I don't think Dave has that particular affliction.Jmustang1968 wrote:Pfft you guys and your controller support

The physical version of The Witcher Enhanced Edition comes with a full walkthrough, which is extremely helpful.
Also, people play WRPGs with controllers?!

Hard drive failure? Seems like another argument for playing the series on a console. I did all the side missions and what not too (as well as all DLC and expansion stuff), and all with a controller. Like a boss.Jmustang1968 wrote:

Consoles have hard drives as well that can fail... I actually lost all my progress on my PS3 gmes when the console crapped out.dsheinem wrote:Hard drive failure?
