It always sorta confuses me when a game comes out for a Microsoft console in only Europe and/or Japan but not the US.

Conversely, it also confuses me when a game comes out for any Sony or Nintendo console in Europe and/or the US but not Japan.

It's all about the developer & publisher rather than the console manufacturer.

This one annoys me, because I think I would have really enjoyed it:

It's a point-and-click adventure about a reporter who gets transported back in time and must solve a series of murders in a mansion to save himself. Because it is a point-and-click, I think I would enjoy it more on PC of course, but that was never an option. It sounds intriguing, but Capcom never gave those of us in the US a chance to try it.

How do you mod your PS2 to play all regions? I'd love to play these games but all I have is a U.S PS2.

By adding a piece of tape to it. No, I'm not kidding. I haven't done that mod myself though so I don't know how it's done. Here's a guide though http://www.ehow.com/how_7707184_unlock-ps2-games.html

The bad: Altered Beast [PS2]

The average: 10000 Bullets

The amazing: Gregory Horror Show
