Why should you buy the PS4?
Re: Why should you buy the PS4?
I'm counting on the PS4 to have more Japanese exclusives and niche RPGs, Project DIVA and such. That's basically my reasoning for getting one over the Xbox One. But both the Xbox One and PS4 have the advantage of being region free. Too bad the WiiU isn't.
Re: Why should you buy the PS4?
I'll probably grab a PS4 when Infamous Second Son comes out or soon after. The launch titles don't do much for me. I'd probably get Killzone, but since I never finished Killzone 2 or 3 I'll wait on that. If it launched with Infamous or a Naughty Dog game, it'd be a day one purchase for me.
I'm getting the Xbox One at launch because I want to play Dead Rising 3, Ryse, and the next-gen version of Watch Dogs and AC4. I'm also really looking forward to Project Spark and I also know that eventually I'll want to play Titanfall and Halo 5. I'm glad they're at least sticking to their guns on the Kinect. I think that every system having one will open the door for some interesting uses of it.

Re: Why should you buy the PS4?
I think Microsoft is gonna try and release more exclusives this gen, they were pretty aggressive in nabbing up Studios the past year or 2. They already have a more original launch lineup than the PS4 from the looks of it.
I'll only get a PS4 quickly if they have a nice bundle with the Vita. That rumor of a 500 dollar Vita+PS4 is such a cocktease because you know its too good to be true, but I go to bed wishing it was every night.
Anyway, if I had to pick one (I'm sure I'll get all 3 with in the next 8-10 years) I'd go with PS4, they've had the best homeconsole every year they've been in the market. Might as well ride the momentum.
Gotta figure out if I want to buy a PS3 since I haven't played many of its exclusives. PS4 does have the ability to download PS3 games which may make getting a PS3 a bit redundant at this point.

No it does not.
Older. Not wiser.
Re: Why should you buy the PS4?
Well, it will potentially stream PS1,2,3 games. We won't know how well it'll work for a while.

I'm with you there, but I think most of that is quite a ways off considering we don't know of many as of now. Until then I'll be waiting a while.

I want to know what things, besides specs, make PS3 better then the PS4? I mean features and stuff. Because atm it just looks like a upgraded PS3 and that just isn't cutting it for me.

Connect-ability with the Vita, can play PS4 games on the go more or less. Some touch pad stuff. Has some stuff where you can stream games on Twitch or share what you're doing with your friends easy if I can recall.

PS4 should be more than powerful enough for software emulation of PS1/PS2 games, maybe even with graphics enhancements.
It will never happen.
